Move Forward

As the holiday season comes to an end, we enter into a new year and season of life in the form of 2018. Some of us had a blessed 2017 and others experienced struggle, but we all stand on the same common ground; we moved forward.

Moving forward is the most important thing we can do when it comes to everything in our lives. It allows us learn from everything we have done, whether the outcome has been great or less than desirable, and we can become better people because of those things.

This past year has been full of so many incredible blessings and I could not have asked for a more supportive wife, family, and friends. Their constant encouragement has propelled me forward in many aspects of my life and it gives me the strength to reach higher.

What am I reaching higher for? In short, everything. I have things in life that I want to do and a family I want to take care of. I have people I want to give to and things I need to say. I have a story to write and I cannot get to the next chapter with a pen that has run out of ink.

I plan on ending this year and beginning next year by reaching deep into my (ink) well and re-filling my pen. I will write a beautiful chapter this year and I will do so by moving forward in whatever ways I am led.

Where are you at? Are you coming off an awesome year or did you go through some tougher times? What are you going to do to move forward? I encourage you to take some time and evaluate all areas of your life. Highlight what you would like to do and take the necessary steps to do it. Hold yourself to it. You will be surprised at what you can accomplish by staying on top of yourself.

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of 2017! Spend some time with those who mean most to you and bless those around you the best you can. We will see you in 2018!
